1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using MacTemClean from the Mac App Store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License

San Ventura Teknologi, PT. grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MacTemClean on macOS devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, or resell the app.

3. What the App Does

MacTemClean scans and helps you clean only your user home directory — specifically: ~/Library/Caches, ~/Library/Application Support/Caches, ~/Library/Logs, ~/Downloads/.TemporaryItems, ~/Library/Containers/.../Data/tmp, ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData, ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/Archives, ~/.Trash.

It shows real allocated sizes, lets you preview files (Quick Look), and moves selected items to Trash (recoverable). It does not delete system files or other users’ data.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Grant Access Carefully: The app only accesses folders you explicitly allow via the system Open Panel. Granting access to ~/Library or Home covers multiple targets.
• Review Before Cleaning: You choose what to delete. Use “Select All / None / Old (90+ days)” and expand file rows to verify. We are not responsible for data you choose to trash.
• Backup: Keep regular backups (Time Machine). Deletion to Trash is recoverable until you empty Trash, but we recommend backup before bulk cleaning.
• Sandbox: The app respects macOS App Sandbox and will prompt if access is missing or stale.

5. In-App Purchases

• Consumables: [private-product-id] (1d, 2d, 3d, 4d, 5d, 6d, 7d, 2w, 3w, 1m) — to support development.
• Non-consumable: [private-product-id] — hides the coffee section forever.
• Payments are processed by Apple (StoreKit 2). Prices are shown via product.displayPrice and may vary by region. All sales are final subject to Apple’s refund policy.

6. Disclaimers

• AS-IS: The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• Not Guaranteed Savings: Displayed “free space” and “total found” are based on totalFileAllocatedSize and volume capacity — actual reclaimable space may vary.
• No Liability for Data Loss: To the maximum extent permitted by law, San Ventura Teknologi, PT. is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility.
• Snapshots: System Data Breakthrough shows APFS local snapshots via tmutil best-effort. Removal requires sudo tmutil thinlocalsnapshots (copied to clipboard, not executed automatically).

7. Intellectual Property

MacTemClean, its icon, and MacTemClean.storekit configuration are owned by San Ventura Teknologi, PT. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.

8. Updates

We may update the app to fix bugs, improve scanning, or add features (e.g., launchd helper for background scheduling). Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you misuse the app (e.g., attempting to bypass sandbox). You may terminate by deleting the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Indonesia, unless Apple Media Services Terms require otherwise.

11. Changes

We will update the Effective Date above and publish changes at https://s19i.com/mactemclean/terms and in this repository (docs/terms-of-service.md).
